Sunday School

Sunday School began on September 20! Children grades 2-12 meet after the worship service from 11:15 – 12:15 for faith formation classes based on scripture and our reformed creeds, confessions, and catechisms. It is a time for our children to learn the joy, mystery, and grace of scripture, build relationships with teachers, and develop friendships with one another that could last a lifetime.

Grades 2-5

Meet in the sanctuary in front of the organ at 11:15 for singing and then go from there to their class. Their teachers this year are Liz Hulford and Amy Boerman-Cornell.

Grades 6-8

Meet in the sanctuary in front of the organ at 11:15 for singing and then go from there to their class. Their teachers this year are Jack Hoekstra and Rich Fennema.

Grades 9-12

Meet in the big upstairs room of the Youth House at 11:15. They will be working through the Heidelberg Catechism. Their teacher this year is Glen Medema.

All children are welcome and encouraged. There is space and love for all!

Rose Medema is the chair person of the Education and Nurture Committee and she can be contacted with any questions, concerns, or suggestions .
